HVRHS School Song Lyrics

By Hattie Travis*

HIGH ABOVE THE HOUSATONIC

MID THE BERKSHIRES PROUD AND TRUE

OUR HIGH SCHOOL FLOATS ITS COLORS

THE GOLD AND ROYAL BLUE.

IT’S THE MISTY BLUE OF MOUNTAINS

‘NEATH A VEIL OF ROSY HUE

THAT BRINGS TO US THE CHALLENGE OF GREATER WORK TO DO.

COME RAISE YOUR BANNER

FLING OUT YOUR COLORS TRUE,

ANSWER THE CHALLENGE

WITH ALL THAT’S BEST IN YOU.

STRIVE AND ENDEAVOR TO HELP LEAD US THROUGH

WITH GREATEST HONOR

TO OUR COLORS --- GOLD AND BLUE
